It doesn't take long at all for it to empty out. So if you have a large project then you would be refilling it a lot.I used black beauty to sandblast an antique bell. I feel it turned out very well. I have included before and after pictures of the bell. Its now ready to be painted.I would definitely recommend this sandblaster for small projects.
Freaking great ergonomics for this particular sandblaster. I can't believe I didn't get tired after finishing my project in one go. I used two media and this sandblaster performed beyond my expectations on both.
Tried carb cleaners, brushes and even sandpaper on a carburetor that had had sat with gas from 1981 turned into a hard varnish with dirt. Put this on my small 5gallon air compressor and loaded it with soda media. It cleaned like magic. No surface damage to the amluminium or brass and the varnish and dirt melted away in hard to reach places. Tried it on a valve cover and took the paint off nicely. Should have bought one years ago.
I'm impressed. First, It came earlier than anticipated. Second, looking at the picture online it really doesn't look all that big (alot bigger than what I thought). Third, an extra tip, comes with the air hose connector and of course safety goggles. Haven't tried it yet, but I will soon.
Low cost and easy to use sand blaster is perfect for any hobbiest. I needed to use it to clean my intake manifold on a mini cooper but will also be using it to clean the old paint of the rims of my car (the were painted when I got it). If using play sand from the store, be sure to dry it out first, possibly bake it if you're low on time. The eye protection was included with my purchase which was nice. I would recommend using a respirator with it. Also, if you're using this with 1/4 inch quick connect, you'll need your own connection.
I’m hoping to get some good use out of this product. I used very fine abrasive blast media in the hopper. It is a small hopper but it worked for what I was doing it was nice to be portable. It also came with safety glasses which was nice. It was so easy to use and it seems to be a high quality product so it should last if properly taken care of. I did also order the in-line filter when I purchased this sandblasting gun. Everything worked perfectly. Would recommend.
As you can see from the photos we are restoring a farm all tractor and this sand blaster is such a big help!!! It would have been nice to have a bigger hopper but that is truly the only thing we would change! It never clogged and did a good job removing the 50+year old baked on paint.
Like so many others, I am doing home projects that were on my to-do list but COVID pushed to action. I repainted the iron gates and did a crap masking job - the result was black paint overspray on the stone covered pillars and surrounding cement. Solvents took some off but not the nooks and crannies.Looking for solutions, I decided to try a sandblaster and ended up buying this one. All I can say is that with a standard home compressor, 80 grit blast media and lots of protective covering (for me), this took the paint right off and left the stone in good condition (maybe a little lighter in areas). Inexpensive, built to suit the task, no frills. Just does what it is supposed to do. All cleaned up now and waiting to rescue my next botched paint job.

I bought this to remove over spray paint on tile in my basement remodel, worked great. I did make a small 1'x1' ft containment box, simple clear paint plastic. Very easy to use.
The materials is stainless steel(well made). Kind has a big tank storage for the size it is. Some sort of ergonomic handle. Feel solid and durable. Very powerful blaster, if you want to use on aluminum oxide, steel and silicone(i strongly recommend this).
For the price this gun is awesome I have been using it for a few months now and it works fantastic for what I need it to do!
